Health For All operates three community-based clinics that address special needs of the patient population. All are located in low-income neighborhoods of Sacramento and provide outpatient primary and preventive medical care, pregnancy testing and family planning, counseling, and health education to resident families and individuals. The clinics provide preventive pediatric and adolescent
health services to over 4,800 children between the ages of 0-19 years. Because more than 25% of the patient population does not speak English, the staff is multilingual and multiethnic, ensuring that language and culture do not impede health care and healthcare education.
Recognizing the importance of outreach to provide care to migrant farm worker children and the urban poor, Health For All operates traveling health teams and weekend clinics. In addition, Health For All operates several programs that focus on specific needs of medically underserved population groups.
